Download and Install JVM

Notes:

·        This procedure refers to an Administrator login for your computer operating system, not your DiCentral administrator password.

·        Use these steps to determine if you have administrative access to your computer:

-        Start Internet Explorer.

-        Go to Tools > Windows Update. If you are not logged on to your computer as Administrator, a window with a small, red "X" appears on the Windows Update website.

  1. Make sure you are logged on to your computer's operating system with Administrator access (see Notes section above).
  2. Download the MS Java Virtual Machine installer from www.DiCentral.com/support/msjavx86.exe or from our website's Browser Check page (underneath the "browser check" button).

Note   Do not run the Browser Check.

a.      Save the "msjavx.exe" installer file to your desktop.

b.      When the file has finished downloading, do not run it from the download screen. Instead, close the download screen.

c.      Go to your computer desktop and locate the new icon named "msjavx86". Double-click the icon to complete the installation process.

d.      Restart your computer if prompted, remembering to log on to your system again with Administrator access.

  1. After the installation is complete, log on to your DiCentral account at www.DiCentral.com/login/login.asp using the legacy login.

  1. Open any web form. The DiFiller update should load itself automatically and the form should appear after a few moments. If you are prompted to download "DiFiller" or "DiASN", click Yes. If the small, red "X" still appears, either you are not logged on to your computer as Administrator or you ran the installer from the download screen instead of double-clicking the desktop icon.

Note   You must try installing it again from your desktop.
