Download and Install the .NET Framework

Notes:

·        This procedure refers to an Administrator login for your computer operating system, not your DiCentral administrator password.

·        Use these steps to determine if you have administrative access to your computer:

-        Start Internet Explorer.

-        Go to Tools > Windows Update. If you are not logged on to your computer as Administrator, a window with a small, red "X" appears on the Windows Update website.

  1. Make sure you are logged on to your computer's operating system with Administrator access (see Notes above).
  2. From the link on our "What is .NET?" page at http://www.dicentral.com/login/whatisdotnet.asp, go to the Microsoft .NET download page. From there, you can download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework.
  3. Restart your computer if prompted, remembering to log on to your system again with Administrator access.
  4. Open any web form using the procedure described above in the section "How to Determine If You Already Have Microsoft .NET".

Note   The Launching Application window should load automatically and the form should appear after a few moments. If you are prompted to download anything from DiCentral, click Yes. If you still have trouble loading the web form, please contact DiCentral Support for more assistance.
